Welcome to Crazy Canadian Comments, a weekly column featuring the most outlandish comments made on popular news sites (mostly the National Post and Globe and Mail, because that’s where all the angry senior citizens are).
Welcome once again to our roundup the craziest comments from around Canadian news outlets. Lets begin with a spammer who has commented on our own site.
Er…hyperbole, much? I mean, not everyone likes Harper. But I don’t think he needs to be labeled as the worst person to ever exist. This isn’t a one-off comment, by the way. If you look around, you can see that Mark pretty much pastes this anecdote all over other articles. So much haterade.
Next, we move onto the good ol’ National Post.
I guess I must’ve missed the memo. Let’s assume that these folks understand the concept they are discussing. Ontario almost had sharia law under McGuinty? First he runs the province into the ground and puts it on the verge of bankruptcy…and now he’s turning it into a radical Islamic police state? Yep. Sounds like McGuinty, alright. The original commenter fesses up and says there was only some “impressions” that McGuinty was considering sharia law. The hell kind of action would you need to make to give that impression? It doesn’t matter; Morray solidifies his expertise by telling another commenter why he is totally correct in his observations through a personal, unverifiable story.
Over at The Globe and Mail, we had the pleasure of witnessing an exchange between Hudak and Wynne salesmen.
Wynne is an ELITIST. Hudak will bring us PROSPERITY. Believe me, because I am emphasizing totally objective assertions with CAPS LOCK. Toronto…Tor…Tontot..Torontot1 replies with a classy “HACK” and car salesman quip. Scotty closes the argument with another witty salesman line. LOL!
Remember Sun News? Are you trying not to? Well, too bad. We have an insightful comment on an article about Justin Trudeau’s stance on abortion.
…W-What? How did we go from an article about…to…what? This guy is a top commenter?
Oh hey, look! Another Sun News commenter. Hopefully there is some thought-provoking discourse regarding Hudak’s pledge to launch an Ontario gas plants inquiry.
No…NO! LIEBERALS! ALWAYS THE DAMN LIEBERALS! I quit. I’m done.
But not really. We’ll see you next week for another collection of angry commenters!
