There was some big news out of Alberta this evening– ex-Wildrose leader Danielle Smith has lost a nomination battle in the riding of Highwood. Smith was hoping to enter the Alberta legislature under the Progressive Conservative party banner, but lost to city Councillor Carrie Fischer. To some, it’s just karma giving Smith what she gave to the Wildrose party. To others (Danielle Smith) it’s kinda a bummer. In any case, The True North Times has put together a nifty list of the top 7 jobs Danielle Smith still has a chance at. It may not have the same gravitas as “MLA”, but it’s still work! And in Alberta’s economic climate, any work is good work.
