Welcome to Crazy Canadian Comments, a weekly column featuring the most outlandish comments made on popular news sites (mostly the National Post and Globe and Mail, because that’s where all the angry senior citizens are).
Boy, have we got a strange one for you this week. Lets begin with an article on the National Post that discusses the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
Well, that’s just a douche move.
Continuing with the National Post, we have an article about a ban on whale and dolphin breeding in Vancouver.
Did we just manage to find someone who painted aquatic-based life as lazy, government-dependent, teat-sucking parasites of the economy?
If that isn’t enough, there’s an article on The Globe and Mail by everyone’s favourite: Margaret Wente. This week she talks about transgender issues. You can imagine what she had to say.
Either this guy is a great troll, or we have a problem here.
Sun News and the Ontario Liberals are a lovely couple, as showcased by this insightful comment.
Lieberals…always with the lieberals. What I don’t seem to get is Randy’s analogy about cows and housing. Whatever. You should always trust a top commenter.
Finally, we close with a scathing comment from Sun News, yet again. A First Nations Chief felt that the new legislation that forced his tribe to disclose their finances was unfair. The Chief lost all credibility when he declared “there’s no way a white man’s business would divulge this kind of information on the Internet to anybody.”
There was so much potential for meaningful discussion. Instead, this moron decided to showcase his “Top Commenter” prestige.
